Royal mint to produce palladium coins in 2017

According to the radio. RM will be producing said coins next year. This is a year after the US mint has stopped due to low demand.

So with RM profit margins who thinks this is actually going to get off the ground? Have no source other than radio 4 at about 11.50 this morning.

Another coin attracting 20% VAT unfortunately for buyers in the UK.
Perhaps our supplier friends in Germany can use their VAT margin scheme to level the playing field ?
