I have to agree, unless it's something very specific, BIN are usually rubbish.

The best offer has netted me some nice coins though, you get a number of chances so start low and rise.

It strange how it works, If you look on my ebay right now here is what I am selling ALL BUY IT NOW, AND THE CHEAPEST on ebay, and atkinsons. Oh and all comes with free delivery.

Chinese Panda's 2014 - 23 quid

Saltwater crocodile - 20 quid

Great White Shark Coins 1/2 for 11 quid.

I know they are expensive compared to silver to go, but compare them to UK prices, and they are hands down the cheapest.

asked for edge inscription whether UN DECIMO, SEPTIMO or plain edge though it looks like a plain edge from the photo.

It's in 'Fine' state so predict final bids around £600-£800

--------------------------------------------------

The Gothic style crown was issued only in 1847 and 1853. Edge inscriptions (in raised letters) refer to the year of reign. The extremely rare pieces dated 1847 with SEPTIMO on the edge are all proofs and are either errors or trial pieces struck in 1853 with the old reverse. The proof crowns dated 1853 were included in the sets but were not issued for circulation. The obverse was designed by W. Wyon and the reverse by W. Dyce.

Metal - .925 Silver

Weight - 28g

Diameter - 38mm

1847 - UN DECIMO - mintage 8,000 - value £7,500*

1847 - SEPTIMO - mintage ? - value £15,000*

1847 - plain edge - mintage ? - value £750*
