Hi All - I have another £15 off voucher from eBay (£75 minimum spend on 1 item) and I wanted to run these items I found by you all. Are they good deals with the £15 off?

It just appeared on my account - I dont know how or where I got it.

Best voucher I had was 4 months ago - got 10% off up to £1000 spend - I ended up getting 50 Canadian maples at £14/oz when spot was at £14.20!!

I didn't get an email but it's worth going to any listing for £75+

Scroll down below the buy it now button to where it says how many nectar points youll get.

Just above that it might say  ''£ Pay only £xx.xx [show me how].

Clicking 'show me how' will tell you your code and the expiry date.

Mine expires 30/09

Yeah I agree - it works out at about 10% over spot and it looks only to be bullion grade. If I wanted spot gold I would go for hatton garden and get +2% gold.

Getting something under spot on ebay will be hard even with £15 off!

I am considering the Aussie nugget:-

Its £70 all in which is about right for a 1/20 coin (premiums are always high on this)

Thoughts?

add the sellers closing costs on when you take ebay fees, extra postage commissions charges ebay takes and paypal fees you are looking over 10%

These fees are in with the list price if it is a buy it now so it is highly unlikely you'll gold for spot or under unless you hit lucky on an auction

just buy whatever takes your fancy all of the above choices are fine, complaining on the 20fr price then being high but saying you fancy the 1/20 nugget @ £1400oz

if you look at it in pure gold content value -  the 20fr is a better buy for your vouchers use

The smaller nugget at that price would be bought because it would hold its premium in the future - perhaps. For me there are two types of purchases - as close to spot as possible or a great deal on a premium coin that adds to my collection.
