After the popularity of the "Today I bought.." and "Today I received" Threads I thought perhaps people could upload pictures of things they have made/poured/cast.

I thought I'd kick it off with this 9ct Gold bangle I made today...

Probably not everyones taste but today I made a keepsake pendant in silver for a customer of mine, his son sadly died and he wanted something he could wear that he could put his sons ashes in to keep his son close to him so I made him this to wear on a silver chain.

Today I made a ring using a customer's old 22ct wedding band and 2 1g fine gold bars they had, finished up about 23ct I would think.

Took some pictures of the process to show you guys.

The camera is not that close, its just a good zoom lens! If you are sensible and prepared and wear appropriate safety equipment then it is not dangerous. The kiln Inuse is quite small (capacity of 2.7oz molten silver) the bigger kilns (20oz molten silver +) are exponentially more dangerous and you would need proper arm gloves and thick leather aprons and a face mask etc. Thanks for watching!
