ill be off to the windy resort in September  and I will save a bit up to pop into chards while im there , obviously saves on the delivery charge , but wondered  as ive never bought from them before

 

is it a sort of place where a price is negotiable , for instance if there was a sovereign in the window at £195 and my budget was £180  is there room for movement or is everything a fixed price take it or leave it

You can do no harm in asking but from what I've heard there is no negotiation in price,if the coin is priced reasonably there is no problem if it isn't and they won't deal don't buy.

The problem with common sense is, its not that common.
