Gold from electronics.

Recommended Posts

Is anyone here into re-claiming gold or silver from electronics?

Saving up there boards, pins ect, in a hope of finding someone that do's re-claim it for them?

Or knows of somewhere that do's this as a service?

Is it worth it?

I have a small amount at the moment wondering shall i continue with it or bin it.With the price of gold going up is it viable now with the cost of equipment.Just looks a bit all to dangerous on YouTube.

There is a huge thread on the subject on Silver Stackers.

From my understanding, it's hard, dangerous, and not a very productive (£££) use of your time.

Looking at YouTube it's interesting but looks so much hassle, my uncle had a costume jewelry buisness and the chemicles had him in  bad way.

I put my electronic gold on the bay and got 99p, after charges 19p profit, and i used a new padded envelope which costs me, time, lost lunch break  and risking loosing it and risking my feedback for 19p.minus an envelope cost.

Tip of the day," Don't collect electronic scrap".:(.

I supose its 19p off my next E-bay coin.;)
