We seem to be getting dropouts in forum service more and more but sometimes I do wonder if it is local.

I have tried several of the "down for everyone or just me" websites and they always return the "OK" result therefore just you.

I know for a fact that the site has actually been sometimes when I get these results so are they totally worthless or are there any that work?

Edit: this evening I've been getting the following error although there aren't that many users shown as online. Are there problems with site host bandwidth @ChrisSilver

Service Temporarily Unavailable

I think its because the brexit, you starting to feel restrictions on the WWW.

possibly no joke. I did try a site (can't remember which one) that supposedly checked the site from every country in the world. It was amazing which countries it was blocked in, not just China!

I don't believe these types of resources are very reliable though. I've just checked one and it says the forum is currently down!

Yes, there have been many problems this week. Each time I noticed an issue I did write to the web host who fixed the issue reasonably quickly.

I have been very busy this week with my actual job so hadn't signed into the forum much and didn't notice problems with the site being down until I received emails from members. So these issues were not addressed as quickly as I would have liked if I would have noticed them immediately and would have been available to deal with them immediately.

Apologies for the inconvenience. Hopefully all of the issues have been fixed now.

My posts are my personal opinions, they do not constitute advice or financial advice.

Forum has been down for me a few times.  I believe the we should give Chris a break on this one, I have heard that restrictions have been put in place on the WWW and extra monitoring is taking place, obvious really.

Do not be surprised if your PC's, Tablets are being monitored.

Yes indeed, nobody criticising Chris, just one of those things. I'm sure he'll try and sort any issues out as best and as quickly as he can.

Been up and down like a yoyo for a while now. Sometimes I'm just browsing and get an error and after a couple of refreshes or a little wait, it works again. Sometimes it's offline for a good while.
