I sent some money to another person and they responded with Paypal won't release the money for 21 days. Is there any way to speed that along or is that standard?

Tou can speed it up by leaving good feedback i think

I had that happining to me when i just started to sell

I think it can happend again if I sell a more expensive item

Well I bought some silver off a youtube person. I sent him money via goods and services. charged him money. I messed that up pretty good. First time doing it this way. Trying to make it right.

I sold a camera on Ebay where I have stellar feedback for my descriptions and shipping. I too just got hit with this 21 day hold and was ready to go cancel the sale and refund his money. After calming down, I decided was in my best interest to jump through the hoops for Paypal as "21 days" beats "never". I had sold a ham radio last weekend outside of Ebay and that transaction went flawlessly. The letter I got from Paypal said I could shorten the time for release of funds by shipping quickly and providing tracking info to Paypal. It all sounds like BS to me and just a way for Paypal to use funds for free. Needless to say, selling on Ebay now just dropped to my choice of last resort.

I got the 21 day thing also, so I think it must be standard as Paypal have the refund guarantee thing this must be how it operates.

Thanks guys now I know it isn't just something I did. Seems to be the case most of the time.
