hey guys, just a thought, but back in the days when silver was a few quid an oz, how much did an actual coin cost?

were the premiums a lot higher or was it a case of cheap as chips. quite literally.

thanks old dogs, us young pups need your advice.

I didn't consider buying silver coins 10 years ago when silver was around $6 dollars an ounce, but I would've thought the coins would've been stupidly cheap back then, probably around £4 a 1oz coin, if only.....

Well we can only hope 10 years from now when silver's say maybe $100 an ounce the new silver buyers will be asking the same question, and we can sit down in front of our huge stack and say smugly "yep this 1oz 2014 silver coin only cost me £15."
