antique gold mark controll mark Help

Hello everyone.

Seeking information and advice on the imaged crest. (Stamp).
It is stamped a hallmark on gold.
It can also be seen at one point a X. Roman Numeral for 10. Can it be 10 carats?
Shown is a coat of arms with diagonal stripes.
It would have from the 1600 - originate 1700s.
Country of origin, Germany or France. ??
It is probably a maker's mark or brand city marker?.
I am happy about every property, containing info.
thanks for your help
