Ebay . Why oh Why?

Doing my usual flick through ebay looking for bargains, and came across this. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/American-Eagle-Walking-Liberty-1-OZ-Fine-silver-Dollar-type-coin-dated-2010-/251539489041?pt=UK_Coins_Bullion_Bars_SM&hash=item3a90ec0111

£16 for a silver plated Eagle. ....................For a few quid more you can get the real thing. The old saying about a fool and his money is never truer when it comes to the idiots bidding on online auction sites.

That's an just an argument and a negative feedback waiting to happen. Maybe the buyer will assume he has a real coin for the next 10 years and won't even bother checking....since they haven't even checked the description. I hate how he's put "Fine Silver" in the title, but "Fine Silver Layered" in the one line description. 1/2 is a mini-con by the seller, 1/2 is the stupidity and ignorance of at least 2 bidders.

I have been meaning to buy some layered, plated, fake (all the same rubbish) coins as a bit of a decoy. Won't be paying £16 each though, that's for sure.

The buyer will complain, the seller will claim he stated layered in the description and 100mills in the PM content, ebay will back the seller and the world will keep on turning.

Obviously just trying to deceive people, if you're new to silver it's so easy to get ripped off by scum like this, they need to sign up to forums like this before parting with their hard earned cash.

If only we could entice them all in before they buy - all too often they come on having already purchased a duffer.

I believe it works out to be effectively 0.5% cashback. 1 point for every £1 and then £2.50 for every 500 points.

I didn't know you could convert them to spend on Ebay.  I was going to spend them in Argos but thanks to you @Helping Hands, I've linked my account ready for converting.
