Congrats :)

Do you consider Japan to be home now?

Is your wife Japanese? (please PM or ignore, as you wish).

It really is a beautiful country. My wife would relocate tomorrow :D

Technically, alcohol is a solution..

'It [socialism] poses a growing threat, however unintentional, to the freedom of this country, for there is no freedom where the State totally controls the economy. Personal freedom and economic freedom are indivisible. You can’t have one without the other. You can’t lose one without losing the other.'

"There is no such thing as public money, there is only taxpayers' money"

Let not England forget her precedence of teaching nations how to live.

My lovely wife is Japanese and our daughter is 1/4 English, 1/4 Welsh and 1/2 Japanese and is a wonderfully happy and dribbly 16 months old even though I am a thousand years old.....:) Put it this way, I'll be the oldest dad at the school sports day :) if I make it that far ! I'm not that old but I like to make out I am....

After a big win in 2008 spread betting on the EUR/USD & GBD/USD Currencies I was able to retire at 45yr .

The first thing I did was pay my mortgage off in full & my Two credit cards & a personal loan & now I just work part time many because of the amount tax I have to pay .

Before that I was working Six & Seven days a week  some times up to 20hrs a day to support my partner & children .

It was a big relief to be able to pay off all my debts off in One go .

It was my sons passing away that got me into PM 's & being a complete novitiate this forum has a great deal of information & very go advice but there are One or Two that are very quick to judge without knowing wot their on about but you get that on all forums.

My first purchase was 100 2013 Britannia's because they are CGT exempt.

My plan is to buy 100 coins per month until the Gold to Silver Ratio hits 20/1 then I will sell 75% of my total Silver stash & buy as many Gold coins as I can.

With the other 25% I'm going to buy the Dow because of the ratio between Gold & Dow & then wait for the price to recover & make a new high.

At present I am long 100oz of Gold on a margin account .  I first went long 50oz at 1222.77 & then another 50oz at 1212.66 & I will close them both out at $2000.00 .

I learnt the hard way & only do long term trades now as short term trades you miss out on to much money & the trade fees can be very expense.

If it works out I will cash them out & buy Silver & some Gold coins.
