The thread below seems to indicate that somethings not quite with  The gold bullion dealer's website.

Feel like i should defend the Gold Bullion Dealer site a little. I have met the owner face to face a few times in the past, always came across as a decent chap. He has a jewelers too based in the Jewelry Quarter in Birmingham, hence the accreditation, Cant remember whats its called though.

I honestly dont know where he gets his stuff from, but bear in mind there is a Metalor branch a 2 min walk from his location, so that might help him on prices.

I have never had anything but good service personally, but this is only my own personal experience. Make your mind up yourselves.

No one is saying that it isn't their own choice, but as PRICE is clearly important to the OP then I thought I would make a salient point about the relative cost of bars vs bullion!

I guess you could buy up the bullion, melt it down and make your own bars. In fact I hear that this may be what the Chinese have been doing.

Or buy a 1kg and im sure you have a hack saw in the shed. Works with soap and cheese.

Found these on ebay £50.70 each and that's with delivery. 5x bulk buy so 1/2 kilo. Seems to have a lot for sale (4x bulk too)

comes out to be roghly £15.76 and ounce, which is okay for poured bar

hey i came across this which seems to be a pretty good price but I can't find much about the website except the eBay shop has a good reputation:

https://www.tjbpreciousmetals.co.uk/product/100g-sao-silver-bar/

It works out to be £55.05 with postage. Anyone ever used them?

Says £44.56 including Tax @ 20% I know you need to add on delivery for this but for a 100g bar £44.56 including Tax seems too good.

Oh yes, so it does, I misread.

That's interesting as I work about 5 minutes walk away from them.

May pop up at lunchtime.

Well, I emailed them this morning and haven't got a response yet. Wanted to check I could pick up at the advertised price with cash / debit card.
