seolfor_47 on eBay

Has anyone ever dealt with  seolfor_47  on ebay before?

On one of his listings he is selling a 1oz silver britannia weighing 31.10g, which has the silver content of 31.10348. Now this could be a typo or a simple mathematical error; but it could also be a dodgy account. I would be greatful if anyone has any info of this seller. Cheers.

officially the coin could weigh 31.10g(1oz 2dp)

many actual coins would weigh ~31.21g as shown on the rm

website. the seller have probably just quoted 1 oz to 2

decimal places and forgot to do the same for the purity.

(having said that it could be a sneaky way of marketing as

total coin weight can be easily checked but total silver

weight not so easily done) there's no obvious signs of the

coin being a fake that I can see. the more important issue

is for you to put in safeguards just in case the seller is dodgy.

Could you explain what you mean by safeguards?

just be cautious and don't trade outside the ebay paypal system

that allows you to claim if there are any problems. maybe someone

who buys on ebay more regularly can add to this?

Interesting issue here re: ebay and paypal. In the UK we are forced to offer paypal and the US is possibly the same as they all seem to use it. However, in Germany it's quite rare to see paypal as a payment option, they all seem to insist on bank transfer. How come our german friends get to opt out of the paypal tax?
