Novelty Gold Items

I've not been back to Hong Kong for many years but I love the jewellery and novelty items which you find in all the major jewellers and have plans to pickup some pieces next time I'm back.

Came across this and I really really want one. I have no idea on the weight but it is .9999 but not solid through and through. It'll be a shell but if it were a solid block it'll be even more amazing although the price tag would be significantly more.

£600

Latest additions which I'm drooling over.  Probably missed a few since I last looked.  C3P0 and R2-D2 is limited to 100 pcs.

Chewy and Vader are/were available in "big" format priced at £32,000 and £70,000.

Oldie thread but I'm eyeing this up.  Big fan of Iron Man.  Only 6cm tall which makes it affordable but will carry a hefty premium which is expected for these types of things.

Rather than creating a new thread I'm going to spam this one with pics of the pieces which I've managed to pickup.

@morezone how did they make Chewbacca? Laser fusion of gold granules?

I have absolutely no idea.  Would love to see how they do it though.  Amazing how they can create a shell like that.  They've been making these ornamental pieces for decades but I'd imagine the method has changed and advanced since the early days.
