Hi I ordered something from Hatton Garden Metals, payed yesterday it says on there web site in the My Purchases section, payment method bank transfer. Today I received a email saying if the item is not payed for by tonight, my orders cancelled?! And I can't ring them as there not open?!

What do I do? It was not exactly a small purchase?!

It will be probably an automatic email sent to all orders currently unpaid.

Someone will come in to work in the morning, see your payment, and the order won't be cancelled, and all will be well.

I could be wrong, but I personally rate HGM very highly, and they will look after you whatever the outcome.

Currently stacking 1/4 oz (22ct) and Sovs.

Everything is probably fine. As you say, nobody works there over the weekend and I'm almost certain thay have to confirm bank transfers manually.

It would be crazy therefore for their stock/orders system to cancel orders until payments can be checked on Monday morning.

IIRC @morezone had a similar situation a couple of weeks ago, perhaps he'll report back on the outcome of this?

Yes I,ve had this lately as well after phoning late on a Friday and asking them to put aside items for me until I pay for them online. I've even had the email on Saturday after paying shortly before closing time on Friday but they send the items out on Monday without any further interference from me.

They phoned me on Monday afternoon to advise that the coin I had purchased was too damaged to send out as it had marks from where it was mounted in jewellery.  No idea if it was true or just an excuse since the coin I purchased appeared online outside of opening hours (7 or 8pm).  I was under the impression that orders are cancelled and relisted around midnight but I have seen things appear in the evenings before.
