Id suggest putting them on ebay.  Notes are always redeemable at face value so you can't lose if you need to buy them at work.

Do a search on completed listings.

I'd list them one note per lot.  You might need to get some banknote plastic protectors to post them.  Be careful of dodgy fake buyers as they like to go for currency.

Don't list them as perfect if they are not as banknote collectors are more fussy than us.

@terry40 would you be getting £100 of each of the current erm currency before they turn plastic which is starting this year.

They do look a bit tatty around the edges for many collectors but maybe someone would be interested in serial number runs at a little over face value.  The pounds and maybe fives don't look so bad and I think Hollom was maybe the cashier when these series C notes came out in the sixties.  I don't know if that helps or hinders the value as collectors like to look for certain serial number ranges in many cases.
