10 oz silver bar or 1/4oz gold eagle

I am planing my next buy and what some thoughts. Should I get a 10 oz silver bar (plus and ounce or two smaller bars) or a 1/4 gold eagle? What is everyone thought about silver being so under valued to gold.

I'd get the gold, it's gone up from £715 odd pounds to £788 since the start of the year, When the markets close on Friday it was usually a beat down before the close but if it's an upturn now then gold might be heading upwards.  Gold could be the kind of thing that if you wait until next month might be £50 dearer where silver might just be 50p.

If you can get physical silver for near to spot price and almost tax free go for it. Do have  a medium to long term plan however, if you want to profit in the short term, gamble like everyone else on the so called markets. Good luck whatever you choose. Incidentally, just wanted to check that you are aware this forum Is a UK based? Yeah. I know this is UK base but I dont know a US base site. But silver is silver. Your taxes might be different but our mind sets are simular. I am new and found this thru numinstacker YouTube page. I just like talking about this to someone else other then my wife who rolls her eyes everytime I bring up any PM.

I would get the gold just make sure you buy at a good price. You might find 2 or 3 1/10th gold Eagles a better bet as they are slightly easier to resell.

I'd go for the gold,  far easier to sell on and on the storage in the meantime.
