estonia silver any catches or hicups

just had a scan on a site from Estonia  with delivery on 20 coins still $30 cheaper than atkinsons

 

when they say you wont have vat to pat when it lands in the uk  is that correct?

as anyone bought from esytonia to confirm the no vat to customs and excise

 

also is it a straightforward sale from Estonia  or have any members had parcels go missing  or waiting ages  for parcels, was transferring the money straightforward,

you guys are absaloutley right with the reccomendations, for Estonia etc,  just wondered if there was a very good one , one not so good, one to stay away from

I have ordered from Estonia many times and it's all good.

No extras to pay as they are in the EU.

Europe silver bullion   unless im reading it wrong I think theyre cheaper than coin invest

ESB is the cheapest, but sometimes on certain amounts of coins STG can be cheaper despite being more expensive per coin because the delivery charges are smaller.

I reckon your right stg seems £8.74 cheaper on 20 maples than esb  £289.38    atkinsons want around £330

Yeah, unit cost per coin is higher on STG but shipping is about half so it can work out.

 

Atkinsons will always be higher, STG doesn't charge VAT and you will not pay VAT on it either when it enters the UK.

Used ESB a few times without any problems but you've got to watch the postage costs, if you only order a small amount it can work out expensive.

I have sarnia silver in my favourites box  but they talk about  vat being added at the checkout,  that's plus delivery as well  there expensive if that's the case as the coins are still starting from £14.50

Jersey so it's all + VAT.

Estonia is no VAT and Germany is marginal on some. These are the two countries for the best price

when stg talks about sending you an invoice after a on line order  do they mean an invoice to your postal address or an invoice you have to print off from your e mails?  I don't have a printer

also where do you pay the money into to pay the invoice

Online invoice detailing your order. Why would you need to print it?

You can pay into their German bank and the details are on the invoice. Or if you ask, you can get their UK banking info to pay into a UK bank.

@ craig12 Sadly the bars would have VAT on them because they aren't legal tender coins, so no different to buying from a UK dealer.

 

Quite annoying how silver is treated compared to gold for VAT purposes.

I`ve ordered from Celticgold and Libertysilver with no issues at all.  Made the payment through www.transferwise.com to save on bank charges.

 

Not tried Europe Silver Bullion yet.

Actually you save about 1% I think. Maybe not in Estonia but bars in Germany attract "only" 19% VAT compared to UK 20%.
