Forum moving to faster servers.

I am going to be transferring the forum over to a better host with faster servers. Therefore there may be a short downtime period between the transfer.

I will update this topic when I know a more accurate date when the transfer will happen. Right now I am just waiting for an EPP code from my current host to authorise the transfer.

I believe the transfer will be happening sometime today, possibly within the next hour. Not sure how long it will take or what the possible downtime may be. So any temporarily slowness of the forum is most likely being caused by the transfer which has already been initiated.

The forum is of course now transferred over to the new host. I will try to upload some before and after speed tests, but I am still working with the new host to try to boost the site speed.

Most of you we aware when the forum came back online as you are signed up to the forum news emails. For those who are not, you can enable the news by clicking on your display name on the top right of the screen, then go to 'notification settings' where you will be able to enable the news by ticking 'Send me news and information' and saving.
