I can see more of these gearing properties coming on stream, but i'm not really a fan of them. Too much downside for me. This will be a one off for me, I will be sticking to the normal "un-geared" properties in the future.

I got some. I funded my account yesterday to make sure I was ready lol.  Within 2 mins it was 87% funded!

More gearing properties being offered in future.  Expansion into a wider uk property choice and international markets.  Sounds good to me ?.

For fecks sake...... Property went up today. £427,400, all went in less than 60 seconds. I was refreshing every 10 seconds, When it came online on my pc, already over 20% had gone. I managed to get my little bit, and when I refreshed to see what was left, it had all gone. I only put in £50, If I wanted a bigger slice, say £5k or £10k then I think I may have missed out.

People dont even have time to check the particulars or do DD on the investments, (which is why I only chucked in my normal £50), which is a worry

Either they are going to have to find lots more properties, or they will struggle to find new investors, if there is nothing for the newbies to invest in.

It was crazy.

I got my little bit in too. To be honest, there was enough information on the email to convince me to make a minor punt (victorian terrace, crossrail, heathrow), but I agree with you that many folk would have invested blindly. Some large sums too.

I wonder how they are going to review the investing procedure? From their blog:

Auto invest sounds intriguing.  Another 1 just went up.  I'm liking the preview feature saves a bit of time researching before u invest.  I got my bit in today's properties.  I was refreshing the page for ages before it went live tho, then it had sold over 80% as I went back to the original page.

Got my little bit as well. I forgot all about it, and didn't remember until about 1:10 pm. 40 mins after it was released. I thought buggerit, but when I logged on it was at 95%,so I managed to squeeze in right at the end

My property portfolio now has little bits of 33 properties..

Wow that sounds impressive.  I have 25.  I was gutted I missed out on that 5% gearing property a few wks back.  I looked in to buying some on the resale market but it's a 10% premium so I'm gonna wait until it comes down a bit.
