French Franc Size Comparison

BaldyBob

Recommended Posts

There are some nice photo's of French Francs on the Forum, but I was looking for a comparison shot with some common coins such as UK Sovereigns, or even other European / South American small gold coins to give an indicator of size.

I know gold content is generally smaller than Sovs, but picture, thousand words etc etc.....

Thanks in advance.

Currently stacking 1/4 oz (22ct) and Sovs.

Thanks Gents, saved it to my desktop and zoomed in.

Not that much in it then, just thinner I presume.

Thought I might try to infect the wife with the gold bug by picking up a few gold  francs, but personally not a big fan of sov sized coins. Will have to give it some thought.

Currently stacking 1/4 oz (22ct) and Sovs.
