Coins not selling.

I've just got back from 16 days away in Croatia and whilst at Zagreb airport in the gift shop I thought I'd have a look at the gold and silver proof Croatian coins they sell. Last time I was there in June there were a few coins, overpriced in my opinion but this time there were none. They had 1/4 oz gold proof coins and 1oz silver proof coins. The silver was sterling silver grade and I think the gold may have been 22 carat.

The lady at the counter said they never really sold so removed them for good. Being in an airport I would have thought there'd be enough people passing through over time to see them move the coins.

In the past month this is the second time I've seen coins removed from sale, first one being the Churchill £20 coin on the Royal Mint website.

Would a list of bad selling coins be worth including on the forum just for advice?
