The one in the slab is au58 with CAC sticker.

Is the raw coin better worse or the same?

I think the 1880 obverse is a little more

worn on the hair around the face.

I took the 1880 out of an ANACS au58 holder so the question is if NGC will go higher?

the marks on the reverse doesn't help it either.

I think there's a realistic chance they'll also grade

it au58.

(maybe a more experienced opinion here would

help though)

If it gets au58 then I would be happy.

I thought they may grade slightly higher as this one graded an au58.

it might not grade as high as the 1881.

I thought you meant a pro already graded it au58.

It was graded by ANACS as au58 but I broke it out ....

Great game.

However, don't think the photos are good enough to make an informed comparison. Glare, shadow on some and out of focus on others.

Also, I don't think it's valid to to compare the grading you get from NGC, one of the two companies with the best reputation, against some of the "more dodgy" ones,

Howeer, I would say the 1853 dollar is better than the 1858.

The 1893 obverse looks better than the 1880, but can't tell with the reverse, might be the opposite.
