Its hard to tell with the monkey. I think it just looks a bit of a similar image as the horse and goat just with different animals.

like the koala and kook , really disappointed  with the monkey it just doesnt look right to me , was hoping this would be one of the standout coins of the series and im really not keen on it

The monkey looks a lot better on the PM video as a "photo" than on the illustration shown above which is more like a drawing. I'm sure it'll be fine in hand.

Atkinsons have a hugely misleading price declaration, the lower (*cough*) price only available when buying in BULK.

Seems a bit unnecessary.

With the limited 300k release, the first price offerings will be the most expensive.  It was cheaper to buy 2 x 1/2 oz than a single 1oz.  I bought my Goats a few months in when the price had stabilised and it'll probably be the same situation with the Monkey.

Same as last year, £23+ I think. They were touting the limited mintage aspect, encouraging people to buy quickly as they sell out every year. The price soon came down when others started selling them. Wait for STG, I think I bought my goats from them in January.

Just checked my invoice from STG, i bought my 1oz goats on the 31st Aug for £19.33 each, spot was around $19 at the time, I'm thinking the monkeys will be around £17 if spot stays where it is.

Is it just me but are all these Monkeys looking just a little bit disappointing,i was keen on them to start with but looking a bit naff now i have viewed a few times,maybe  there better in the flesh.
