are there fake Heraeus Kinebars?

Its a pretty good fake  :(

Couple of obvious differences but to the naked eye, it'd be hard to tell without having a genuine bar for comparison. As always, ensuring you buy new from a reputable dealer, who get their stock from the refinery direct, should put your mind to rest.

And just so you know, 5g bars are really, really small. If you can afford a 10g - well, they are still small, but they do have some substance to them.

German marks or Sovereigns find out what you can buy the cheapest compared to the best resale value.  So in the UK its Sovereigns and Britannia's followed by other Government bullion coins before bars.

If you are in Bosnia what Gold do people trade in?

Because when you come to sell you need Gold that you can sell easily, or are you happy sending it international?

This is the reason I stopped buying bars. I have 50g Heraeus bars and I can't do a simple ping test with them, they sound weird (or they are fake, lol). Coins are much easier to identify.
