Why do I find Libertads so Compulsive?

Honestly I am trying to stop... Trying to become more interested in old USA quarters, pre33 gold and Sovs... But I do have a big soft spot for Libertads particularly gold.

First time I have taken my 1oz gold proofs and lined them up for a pic...

They are nice. I have a gold quarter ounce and about 10 of the silver years, plus a solitary 5 oz silver.

Not to forget the silver set that Morezone was selling but I think everyone has one of these!

It's a good design (however my wife doesn't like it!) but I can't get excited by them the way you obviously can, Each to his own.

WRT US coins though, I do like Morgan and Peace dollars and Mercury dimes.

Don't force yourself away from Libs though, if they float your boat, just go with it. I like sovs so what?

I think I will stay with them but gradually branch out to others. Just picked up another seated Liberty quarter and so learning about these. You can see I am trying to develop subtlety...

This one is from the famous Carson city mint.

Everybody should try at least one Libertad set )) rite of passage

Rite of passage is a full date run of a long standing bullion coin [emoji1]

Or 10oz gold.

Or paying over £100/oz for something (silver)

Stacker since 2013

Maybe a full date run of proof gold Libertads?
