Today I received.....

Recommended Posts

2010 and 2011 Baby Roos to add to add to my 1987 and 2014.  25 more to go.

I would love to do a run of Pandas, but they are waayyyyyyyyy too expensive.

Isn't that one of the left a boxing roo?

I have a 2010 1/10 Oz boxing roo, they are a good one to have, slightly higher premiums than other years. The baby roos are generally 0.5g aren't they? Is that a 0.5g boxing roo? Didn't know they made them that size.

Cool!

Not quite full blown "baby" but almost. They're the 1/10ths. I'm hoping to so a full date run of them before the year end.

Fractional gold is my new thing so I'm going to do a new one for each of the main bullion if it's available.

I'm thinking of picking up 2012,2013,2014 of the 0.5g baby roos but at £30-£40, they're a little steep. Also thinking about the 2013 0.5g koala but again, very high premium.

What size are these?

Edit: just read above, they are 1/10 oz. Nice!

Today (Read this week, but I was too busy to post!!) The following (Thanks Maggie)

These are the Royal Silver Company 99999 (5x9) pure silver rounds. The purest you can get.

The first one is the Leoncito "Thumb" monkey, the second is the Andian Cat. The third is the 10 Dirham.

These are the start of a set which include the blue throated macaw I posted a picture of in the Gallery. That just leaves me needing the Anaconda and I have the set, I think. Certainly the animal rounds set. Not sre if there are any more along the lines of the Dirham.

Any way!! :D

Its a good one.

Found this info on the 2010 Boxig Roo coins:

...restricted to 350,000 for the 1 oz coins,

100,000 for the 1/2 oz coins,

150,000 of the 1/4 oz coins,

200,000 of the 1/10 oz coins.

Would make a lovely set! lol ;)

Amazing what you can do from little over two ounces of silver.

It is! has a really nice feel to it, does not feel flimsy or thin at all. I kinda bought this one as to diversify a bit, maybe has a bit of added antique value on top of silver content.

I turned down a solid silver tea service, and my supplier was going to let me have it less than spot, so at the time would have been around £11.9/oz.

The worst thing was the money was not an issue!!

I only know it was assayed in Birmingham.

Doohhh.
