New Tokelau 1oz Great White Shark silver bullion coin

Likely an early sample, but don't expect this low premium stuff to match the quality of a Perth Mint Kook or Lunar.

I do think these will be better than the Tuna, as the Highland Mint has a hell of a lot to prove after that coin. If this one is poor I'd like Treasures of Oz to go back to the Sunshine Mint who did a good job with the Tokelau Lunars.

The earlier Tuna coins were mirror finished and these were the ones that had the  quality issues. I know that APMEX returned thousands of these, and in turn the public voted with their feet. I think that Highland Mint then recalled all stocks

The coins were then re-issued and with a matte finish and to be fair; (and considering the price,)  these are not to bad a quality.

I believe that Highland Mint have over the last couple of months started to sell on some/all of the "B" Grade mirror coins into the trade. Thus if you are thinking of picking up a few it might be wise to check if these are mirror finish or matte.

Lets hope the shark is matte from the outset
