closed 5x 1oz. .999 silver coins Surinam Republic

Hi all,

I have 5 1oz. coins from the Republic of Surinam (former Dutch colony).

I don't think you'll see them much outside of the Netherlands, this might spark your interest (or not).

Either way, I have a couple of them and like to sell a few. I quite like the look and feel of the coins, they're more "mat" or "frosted" than for example a Philharmoniker.

APMEX used to have them on stock but they're out of it right now.

They look fine and they've always been in plastic pouches, not in tubes or hard plastic.

Any interest?

I'd like to sell them, starting somewhere at £16

Insured Delivery will cost you £11,50

Regards

Aha! Interesting read. Eventhough I am from Holland, I've never heard of this case.

Well, makes the coins even more interesting :-)

Legit coins made by counterfeiters.
