So did anyone buy this? and thoughts on the price? good deal or no

Would love to know what the going rate is for these now--- either in the box or slabbed.  I reckon £500 is reasonable. Amazing variation in prices - the 2013 proofs are virtually being given away - saw a 5 coin set sell for only £90 last week. Currently there is a UK 2014 6 coin set up for £580.

Shame the RM doesn't go "Mexican" and do a 7-coin boxed proof set including the 5 ounce! Now that would be a good comparison - proof Libertad versus proof 2014 7-coin?

This is not really a deal. Could someone please point out to me what is wrong with this listing. It is a deal @£22.99 but i do not think its the real deal. I would have taken a gamble myself if the seller was UK based.

I believe a similar grading company/slabbed coin had been mentioned here before - If memory serves me correctly it was plated

If its too good to be true it probably is! I wouldnt take this risk.

yes, it's fake.

Does specify 30g of precious metal so if fake, PayPal buyer protection should provide a refund.

If genuine then a good purchase.

Problem is the need to weigh & determine specific gravity then the time & stress of dealing with the refund, if found to be fake for a relatively low cost - 3 drinks served in plastic glasses at my city theatre for example.

Thanks for the replys, knew it was to good to be true.

Ive been done on ebay once before with a 2011 panda, got my refund in the end and used the money to buy a 2013 silver bitcoin which turned out well cause they are very hard to come across nowadays.

2016 Britannia Gem Proof 2 pound 1 0unce silver going for $89, only for the US buyers. That's a mere £69 compared to the Mint in the U.K.selling for £85.

Am I correct in thinking a Gem Proof is a "normal proof" or is it somehow a second class proof?!?

I just bought five Queens Beasts 2 ounce coins from Silvertrader for £224.51 with postage included, cheaper than buying VAT free from STG when you factor in the postage, good prices from Martin:)

£206 delivered here: https://www.gold-silber-muenzen-shop.de/modules.php?warp=artikel&id=3699&preview=1

It' not just about buying VAT free but also which dealer you buy from.  Prices can vary significantly from dealer to dealer.  Also, SilverTrader is one of the few dealers who has an agreement (for now) with HMRC to use the margin scheme.

Hi, I am getting quoted in my checklist:

2016 China 1 oz. Proof Silver Official Panda Issue for the Anaheim ANA Show (Individually Numbered) - NGC PF70 UC (Exclusive ANA Panda

$228 each, 2 x $228 = $456

2016 China 50g Proof Silver Official Panda Issue for the Anaheim ANA Show (Individually Numbered) - NGC PF69 UC (Exclusive ANA Panda

$525 each, 2 x $525 = $1050

$109 postage to uk, total cost included transferwire is $2615 = £2156.37

just 2016 China 1 oz. Proof Silver Official Panda Issue for the Anaheim ANA Show (Individually Numbered) - NGC PF70 UC (Exclusive ANA Panda

$228 each, 2 x $228 = $456.

$49 postage to uk, total cost including transferwire is $505 = £416.43

I would spilt costs and add uk postage to you (your choice what option).

Thanks
