Scrabble should be a relatively simple one, just flat square blocks and a set of big letter stamps, hallmarking would expensive when you have to do 100 separate tiles, maybe we could just buy one a month?   leading to the well used line:

I'll have an "E" please @BackyardBullion

100 pieces - yowzer!

My little squares are about 1.2 oz each so the set would be 120 oz Close to 3.8 kg!

Imagine lugging that on holiday with you!

For the correct use of the "I'll have a" phrase they would have to be hexagons surley!

I just wanted to give an update and float an idea about these Tetris pieces.

I have had confirmed commissions for 2x 25 piece sets and 2x 9 piece sets. So I am going to be making a lot of Tetris pieces!

I will hopefully have some of the finished boxes to share with you all next week but we want them to be just right before we do.

Now, my other thought is to make a "Monthly Backyard Bullion Tetris Club"

What I mean by this is that I am aware that £165 + £15 for a box is a lot for someone to outlay in one go.

So I am happy to go with a monthly purchase of Tetris pieces with an incentive at the end of the process.

So, total price for a set of 9 pieces plus display box is £180 including delivery (special delivery).

Payment Plan #1

I propose that you would buy one piece per month for £22.50. This would be posted by 2nd Class regular postage. When you buy your 8th and final piece you would have spent £180 in total. So for the 8th month I would send you your last piece (9th) and Box for free thus completing the set for £180.

Payment Plan #2

Payment plan number 2 requires a larger cost in month one so that you get your display box first rather than last. You pay £37.55 for the first month and then £20.35 per month for the remaining 7 months. The final month you would receive your final (9th) piece for free thus completing the set for £180.

No Commitment

There would be no commitment for you to continue to buy the pieces each month and you can cancel at any time. The only downside is that you would not get your free piece at the end and reduce the overall cost of your set.

If anyone is interested in this let me know and we can sort it out!

Production coming along nicely!

I packed them up for storage in one of my BYB boxes and boy was it a snug fit to say the least!

It was SO much fun to play Tetris for real!

The Tetris frames are done!

They are hand made by Backyard Bullion Snr. (my dad!). They are made from English Oak and come with labels and none other than a felt bottom!

£15 each seems a right bargain but that is all my Dad wants for them!
