No queue for this coin - £30 for 3.56g of silver - think i will pass on this one.

There will be a full tatologue of items coming down the line this year no doubt.

Royal Wedding next when this spectacle is over.  If you ever wanted to try giving up life without a TV this is a great time to try

To be fair would love a silver penny, but not at that premium

Im pretty confident in a year or so's time you will be able to pick one of these up on eBay for £10 or less

The same coin at twice the cost of the 'It's A Boy/Girl' silver penny BUNC cards.

So an extra £15 for the box and what looks like a CoA featuring Willy boy and his bear...I mean beloved wife Catherine.

The coins not even commemorating the royal birth, they could stick that sleeve/packaging on anything, likewise they could sell that coin in plain packaging in the future for what its worth which is substantially less than they are asking for it.

Exactly what they have done - as I posted above the same coin is half the price without the 'royal baby' box (which looks like a poor mock-up to me) and CoA guff attached.

Even at very much more reasonable rates (see that gold SotD from last year) you are 100% throwing money away with these imho.

I must admit that I did buy one of these for my mum as a present as she loves all this Royal stuff.  I know it was a rip off but it made her happy.  I really like the silver penny, but not at this price.  The box and presentation is really good quality.

I do like the gold UK currency coins but the premiums are way too much.  Does anyone have any of these other than the gold 50p?
