I still can't see these on the Royal Mint Bullion website. Just curious, how long is the lag usually between coins being available through bullion dealers and being on the Mint's own website?

You dont want to buy platinum from RMB website - full 20% VAT

Group order them - the 1/10th oz platinum britannias are price matched to the GS.be website.

Thing is, there's a pretty hefty premium on the gs.be website, nearly 24% by my reckoning.

I think this is to do with it being fractional - same with fractional gold being higher.

The 1 oz platinum britannia works out at about 8% premium.

Yeah, I guess it's always going to be a bit of a losing game with fractionals but still, over 20% premium really stings. Personally that's enough for the uncertainty around platinum to outweigh the low(ish) price.

Yes a bit of me loves the idea of buying a nice dense 10z lump of the stuff but I just don't have those kinds of funds :P
