Maybe or their could be 2-3 people who want the same item for there collection setting off a bidding war increasing the price. The good and bad of eBay lol

His latest reply to a message I sent saying that it is clearly a fake sovereign and should be taken down....

Is there any ongoing thread that is dedicated to rooting out ebay fakes and reporting them? If not might that be an idea for a pinned thread? If enough of us keep on top of it we could do serious good for the wider community by sending an army of people to report obvious fakes.

I don’t think there is a dedicated thread. They pop up now and again like this one. I’d like a pinned thread, seeing fakes is quite educational especially good ones!
