Anyone tempted to add to the group order given the recent rise in price? 

Although im glad i locked in prior to the rise in price, Im happy to see we have reached the 17 usd mark and 12gbp mark.

Give it a week or two, see what happens, if it hangs around 17.2 then its looking good at sticking to the trend (!!) and onward down we go. 

(Equally it could go up and you would be right to chase, who actually knows )

Judging on how many people have messaged me this week I would say it will be a bumper weekend (and a busy one taking orders!)

Also, judging by some of the more visceral comments on my recent "don't buy silver" video many people believe now is a good time to buy! That video has gone what I would call "viral" in the silvertube community with nearly 7000 views in 2 days - also a personal record of 46 thumbs down...

Who knew that telling people who think silver is a religion would not like a video like that!

Frankly it's videos like that hat, for me, make you come across as much more level headed than many

I'll be joining. Price was lower a week ago, but it's not gone monstrous. It doesn't actually change the integer number of ounces I can buy *shrug*

Besides I'm doing this mostly as a saving discipline thing and looking medium term, and watching the day by day prices will just drive me nuts

Group orders before Christmas were around £13/Oz spot so it's not that bad really

OK guys - update time!

We are at a very healthy €14,000 which equates to 815 oz - although a few of these oz's are pending so this may go down if people dont pay me before Sunday evening!

Great buying power we are demonstrating here - well done!

But - I have some good news and bad news to share with you all.  Let's get the bad news out the way first. There will be a delay of 10 days to this order. Once again it is the bloody Royal Mint who have delays in getting out some of the new coins to The European Mint. Major irony considering they will be flown straight back to the UK but that is the way of the world sometimes! But, that means some good news - the order will be open for one additional week meaning I am pretty sure we will hit 1000 oz of silver!

There is also news on the shipping side of things. 

Now, I had genuinely no idea we would get this many orders considering the previous order had been so huge - who knew you all had so much money!

I have spoken with the EU mint and have agreed the following for the order. We will end up paying 1% of the value of the order in shipping costs. This is considerably less than it would have been had we not established this relationship. For an order of around 37kg of silver normally they would charge €240 + 20% vat. If our order gets to 1000 oz (roughly €17,500) then we would pay €175 for shipping greatly reduced. 

It also makes maths easy for anyone thinking how much they will have to spend on their share of international shipping. €1 per €100 spend. Spend €500 your share of shipping is €5. A lot better than if you had ordered directly!

So, the new closing date is Sunday 29th April - in the meantime please get me any orders you want locking in this weekend.

I am not sure - perhaps this is a VAT exclusive to Estonia - I really have no idea.

In B2B it is normal to state prices without tax. So I guess FedEx and so on give their prices and VAT info to the EM and they just pass it on.

Well - you all know how to keep me busy on a Sunday!

This weekends orders alone have been €5200!

Bringing our total to €15,200 and a total of 860 oz of silver and a little platinum and gold too!

Here is a breakdown of the order to date - so you can see what is popular!

The order will be open for one more weekend and will close at 8pm on Sunday 29th April. 

I feel confident we can get over 1000 oz of silver here for this order by the end of next weekend. 

In case you missed it the shipping update is in a post above. Basically it will work out to be €1 per €100 spent - a right bargain if you ask me!

As always - feel free to drop me your shopping lists during the week but you might be politely reminded to send them again on Saturday.
