2017 Sovererign - My first

My first Sovereign arrives tomorrow, I decided to choose the 2017 as the first one; but oh so many more I want/need! Part of what convinced me to pull the trigger was Numistacker's videos on all the various Sovereigns.

But a question, keep it raw or slab it?

2017 is a bullion coin Sovereign. Its value is mainly affected by the price of gold, not a collector item.

You would want to slab old/rare Sovereigns ;)

As well as rare ones go  for alternative designs so  for bullion that's 2012 2005 2017 2002

Congratulations! 2017 was one of my first too, 2nd infact, to mark the year I started collecting. My '79 was my 3rd!

'79/'80, the sign of a great vintage :) welcome to the club.

Better start saving, she'll make it. That family has good genes and probably the best heathcare you can get.
