Is anyone else picking some of these up ?

Ive just done my order and added a few in, I don't usually go for them but it seems a great looking coin with bonus of 15k mintage.

Thoughts ?

I saw these in ampex a couple of days ago  but after 2 days ago now they are sold out ?

I checked this morning - there was about 80 in stock, now only 30 odd left...

They could be had for around 24-25 euros on release about a month ago (silberwerte.de, cheimgauer). That price lasted a day or so.

I think according to ampex release is on the 27th so those 24-25 are pre order aren't they?

Careful now, everyone. This has all the symptoms of instigating a "frenzy". Can't have that sort of thing popping up for low mintage high premium bullion coins. It upsets some people who will eventually want to buy them for a couple of quid over spot.

Won't catch me saying this coin ticks all the boxes again for me, and that i'm down for a few. No sirree Bob.

Good stuff, lovely series - you got them all so far? The "mule" one from 2010 too? Some people leave that one out from the full collection. Depends on each collector's view.

 Only started elephant last year or so 

so I will keep up to date and try to backdates elephant when I see them cheap 

me personally thinks elephant in general is  a good deal because their entry price is cheap and their pattern are different every year 

yea I know a small portion  of these spots  but at such a low entry price it’s actualky “ good fun “ to have them in the silver collection case

Personally, i had to add the 'mule' as well! For me, it completes it. But there will be some who just see it as an oddity and don't add it. Bit like the original start of the elephant series under Zambia - yes, technically for some those early ones make the elephant set complete but i decided my set would start with the '04, from when they became Somalia.

Edit: plus it was cheaper not to include the Zambia

yea that's what I think as well , start at 04 is still cheap and they are Somalia , as mention before it is cheap to have , only a few pounds over spot price  not bad isn't 

even if I back dates them now it is not that expensive

Maybe, but silberwerte.de have always been closely linked with the Elephant series, so they may have had them before others.

good price 24-25 euros, similar price to ampex before they sold out , maybe they hold onto the coins and raise the price later as usual  , I guess those 24-25 euro will be history once gsbe sold out tonight especially it is 15k mintage , normally they sells around 100k + bullion per year hence there must be a demand for these '  special pattern '
