Sunday Night Metal Chat

Happy Sunday! Hope that everyone is hard at work on their stacking plan for 2018, we are heading to the end of the 1st quarter in a couple of weeks, are your plan going as you hoped for the year? Are you on track or did you get lost, because we all know the shiny can catch your eye and you end up buying something that wasn’t in your plan.

We have been holding steady and although it could always be more we are steadily adding to our gold and platinum as we had planned, we have bought some fun hand pours and recently we did a trade for some silver for our stack. This was a great transaction, we were able to trade some of our pours for some nice coins to add to our stack, taking out all fees and payment systems, we like paying in metal!

This weekend our 9 year old has been saving his money for a BMX bike as he wants to go to the X-Games, as good parents we were torn between the lesson of hard work gets you what you want and our desire to help our child chase his dreams. We settled on a compromise, because let’s face it at 9 his options are limited for extra cash.  LOL

He has his own stack that he has bought with his own money and came to us about selling some for the bike. We set down and worked out a very fair price and he sold  us 2 ounces( he also reasoned that of course he will ultimately end up with them back anyway when we are gone) to add to his money and we agreed to match his funds so he could get the bike.

He was very happy with the transaction, even happier with his bike and learned about using your silver as a savings account and how to utilize it when you need or want to, and he thinks it is pretty cool that he used some silver to pay for the bike.

So that got me thinking and so I ask you all-

Have you ever purchased anything with metal either directly or by selling to raise the funds you need? Share your story!

Thanks for Reading and Happy Stacking!

This is great to hear your 9-year-old is not one of the entitled gimme set and was figuring out how to buy his desired bike with real money. This is a credit to you.

Always cast your vote - Spoil your ballot slip. Put 'Spoilt Ballot - I do not consent.' These votes are counted. If you do not do this you are consenting to the tyranny. None of them are fit for purpose.
A tyranny relies on propaganda and force. Once the propaganda fails all that's left is force.

COVID-19 is a cover story for the collapsing economy. Green Energy isn't Green and it isn't Renewable.
