I want to try and build up a small stack of these Stock Horses over the coming years of the set run. With 2013 being the first I feel I can get a run going without too high a premium on a low mintage coin set.

 

I don't have huge funds to do this, But eventually I'm aiming to get a dozen of each year. 

 

So I would like to ask the forum inhabitants to pm me if they are ever thinking of selling their stock horses over the coming years. I'm sure we can do a deal

Are you looking for the carded stock horse or just in the capsule

Carded is just a little too much out of my reach for stacking purposes. I just cant bring myself to pay £30 extra for what is essentially an extra bit of cardboard and glue.

 

So Its the capsuled I'm after.

What are you calling a good price on the stockhorses?

Online in several German websites the 2014 can be had for just under £36, and the 2013 for about £50. But I've seen both go on ebay for under £40 in recent weeks. 

 

I'm happy to hang around until I can pick up the 2013 for under £40 and the 2014 for under £35. I'm in no rush to get to my target.  

 

These prices are for the capsuled versions, the carded can go for double than that.
