I think these medals where struck by the Shanghai New century mint, this is a private mint.

I do like last years design better, the details from this year are not so good!!!

Than they are not offical show pandas. Show pandas are meant to be struck from the Chinese mint in Shanghai or Guo Bao. Anyone can go to a private Mint and make these. I could go tomorrow and mint the exact same medals.

They are sponsored by the organizer of the show and therefore they are show medals. New Century Mint is owned partly by the Shanghai mint and are a sub contractor for the Shanghai Mint with a long history of medalic art.
