I would love one where there wasn't any paint on it. Beautiful coin though and I definitely see the appeal especially if you grew up reading the books.

Mintage up to 45000 for two of the coins, 40000 for the others. 

Love the designs - but it is not a cheap set to collect!

Pre ordered mine last year so taking it easy.....and will add to the 2016s and 2017s to have a full run of the coloured proofs and the 1/4oz gold Peter Rabbit (500 mintage)

I really like this series but as has been said above, I think they would look far better without the colouration. To me it looks sort of tacky.

Interesting. I disagree. The original books all of which I have for my daughter are the inspiration and the coins are faithful to the book. You cant mess with a timeless child’s classic.....

 

The travesty that is the current animated version is appaling. The originals are excellent.

I will order the normal BU coins as I have the 2016 and 2017 but not ordering the silver proof or colored as they wont sell for anything over normal price, not like the lower mintage 2016 set.

its a bit silly isn't , if you use topcashback on royal mint u get 55.68 and u can have free exchange if there is any problem 

however, topcaashback sometimes doesn't track

the biggest risk is ROYAL MINT quality ........................... not a few quid 

for example if u get a rubbish sovereign proof you probably will regret straight away and have to arrange return to private seller ...... 

who will pay for postage
