Half sovereign storage

Well I've pulled the trigger on buying a second half sovereign. I guess that makes it a collection now. So I'm thinking what's the best way to store them?

Somebody suggested a sovereign tube is a great motivator when buying full sovs ( but halves work better for me in terms of cash flow) is there an equivalent half sov tube?

Failing that, the basic coin capsules I picked up are much thicker than a half sovereign so I can probably fit three or four in a capsule

Awesome... Although now seriously wondering whether 40 is a bit of an undertaking

40 is setting a goal! You don't need to achieve a full tube a week and a half from now. Just let it be added to every time you look at the empty space in the tube as motivation to buy another one!

I use these

Not very expensive and you get to see your coins as opposed to a tube.

I am using these

I found the small capsules too fiddly

and putting them in one of these

you can get 40 half sovs in a tray, gives you an aim in life.

Will hopefully have a tray full by end of the year, if not sooner. :D

Neat idea JB.

40 half sovs in a year is a great achievement too. We're talking about nearly £5000 in the pot. :)

Technically, alcohol is a solution..

'It [socialism] poses a growing threat, however unintentional, to the freedom of this country, for there is no freedom where the State totally controls the economy. Personal freedom and economic freedom are indivisible. You can’t have one without the other. You can’t lose one without losing the other.'

Let not England forget her precedence of teaching nations how to live.
