MS 70

I’m not a pro at grading or collecting, but I would think it depends on the coin and the population in a specific grade.

A coin that has a population of, let’s say, 90% in the MS 70 grade out of all possible grades the coin has at NGC, will probably command less of a premium than one that has, say, only 15% of MS 70s.

At any rate that I how I would assign value to a graded coin if I were buying one.

Not if it's an American Silver Eagle. Tons and tons of 70s and yet people pay $50, $80 US easily I believe because it has such a huge following. I have no problems with slabbed modern coins, but an ASE? I imagine showing somebody a 2016 ASE MS70, and that person knowing something about coins and collecting thinking that I'm a huge dumb ape for paying whatever price for a slabbed 2016 ASE, lol. Anyways I think it depends on which coin it is, the age of the coin and its availability.
