Hi all,

Just a quick intro after finally signing up having been lurking for a long time.

I've been collecting a few bits of pre-47 UK silver and other silver coins from the rest of the world if I can find them cheap enough for a couple of years - I especially like the car boot sales for a bargain and it's amazing that it's still possible to pick up some nice bits well below scrap value.

I'm now looking to get in to some bullion gold as a hedge against my stock market investments. There are some great threads on here that I've been digesting and as I really don't like the idea of holding 'paper' gold, I'm definitely heading in the direction of bullion sovereigns.
