We couldn't wait until tomorrow to share this.

For a limited period we've reduced Newly Minted Half Sovereigns to 3.5% - the same premium as our Secondary Market Full Sovereigns! The more you buy, the lower the premium.  https://www.chards.co.uk/best-value-half-gold-sovereign-bullion-coins-newly-minted/1991

If you're looking for a silver bargain - we've introduced Secondary Market 1oz Silver Coins - these are our cheapest one ounce silver coin. Check out our prices here: https://www.chards.co.uk/best-value-silver-one-ounce-coin-secondary-market/2870

Rather sad to see coin shops buying into this Black Friday nonsense imvho.

However! Some really super prices there - very impressed with the silver considering it includes VAT!

A very good price on the half soveriegns as well imo, but how are secondary market half sovs showing a range of years on your listing 'newly minted' please @ChardLizzie?

Thanks!

Thank you for commenting. We've tried not to go crazy but instead offer two really good deals that will be popular with both gold and silver investors. Our Best Value products are split into to two main types, secondary market and newly minted. The newly minted are modern issues that can be from 2000 to present - the majority of which are in the original blister packaging  from The Royal Mint. The secondary market sovereigns /half sovereigns can range from Victorian Young Head to Elizabeth II (even 2017), these coins will show signs of wear and may have edge knocks or light scuffs or scratches. I hope it's not confusing but we recently introduced Grade B - not an actual grade - but these are sovereigns that we do not consider good enough to sell as bullion but are too good to scrap. We scrap quite a lot of sovereigns, particularly if they have been in jewellery.
