Has anyone tried bartering with their PM's?

I would love to have the option to say go on trip to a AIRBNB type destination and pay the owner with my Pm"s. I have a idea. What don't the owners of this website put up a bartering section and members can PM between each other to work out the details. Hey, if the crooks of the world can use bitcoin to beat or scam the system why shouldn't we be able to. Think how many things , services, experiences could be bartered for with PM'S.

Would you accept the £20 silver coins issued by the Royal Mint ( once described as legal tender only to now be called commemorative ) rather than crisp £20 notes then ?
This is not that different to exchanging real US dollars for Disney dollars after the Mint misled many of their customers.

Funny thing those coins. I bought a batch of them recently for their silver value at £0.55 a gram so roughly £8/9. I thought I might at least get the original £20 out of them. On eBay they wet for nearly 3 times what I paid for them...

Any explanation why you think?

There must be people who collect them. Look them up on ebay - many are going for much higher premium. This year I bought a whole batch from RM to sell next year :P
