Price guides for graded RM coins

For insurance purposes are there any guides available for the valuation of Royal mint coins that have been graded ? PCGS and NGC do not currently have a price guide for RM graded coins, PCGS are considering it at some time in the future, i will be extremely interested to see how this works out bearing in mind the prices asked by  certain UK dealers for PCGS graded RM coins ! They currently give a price guide on for example US coins based on average dealer selling prices.

I believe that CGS do give price guides on the RM coins that they grade, not sure of what their guides are like and how they work them out ?

I guess in reality a coin is worth what someone is prepared to pay for it, but that is not a good answer to give the insurance companies !

It is difficult to use Spink as a starting price because even on modern coins they use the term FDC for the best condition and price, i find this term very ambiguous and open to interpretation but if you look at the PCGS international grade conversion scale for English coins FDC start grading at MS/PF65, so based on that what is the guide price of a PF70 coin?

I would be very interested to know the price guides given by CGS, does anyone here use them?

NGC have a World Coin Price Guide - maybe this would suffice?  They definitely offer values for Crowns, Sovereigns etc - I'm not sure if they've quite got to modern-day commeorative issues or not.

In my eyes, CGS have completely undermined any claim to legitimacy in the numismatic arena after their sham-liquidation and rebirth about a year ago.  They are too closely tied to London Coin Auctions to be an independent arbiter of coin values.
