Possible Source for Coin Collectors

Most of us are probably stacking or collecting gold & silver for investment purposes or maybe started as a hobby that has got us addicted.
However there might be some coin collectors amongst us that are seriously interested in the coins and their history than just the cost by weight.

A newspaper landed on my desk this week called "the Phoenix" published by a London outfit called Coincraft in Gt. Russell Street WC1B3JL

There is a lot of interesting material in this newspaper ( 24 pages ) which is issued every 3 weeks apparently.
I was especially drawn to their stock list of sovereigns and half sovereigns ( all a tad expensive for stackers ) but for anyone collecting specific dates and needing to know the condition of the coin prior to purchase then this source might be of interest.

I might browse in their shop in the next few weeks.

Here are pictures from the Phoenix.

I have been to their shop (just opposite the British Museum) a number of times. Really friendly and helpful. However, be warned, they are VERY expensive. I have never brought any coins from them for that very reason. This is somewhat understandable due to their location but some of there prices are close to lunacy.

All in all, would highly recommend a visit, but don't expect to get any bargains.
