1/10 oz V's half sov?

As above really. As far as I can tell there is the amount of gold in each (or near enough), however I'm a little worried that a 1/10oz would not give as good as return when selling. 'Everyone' knows what a sov is but a Lib, or Brit hasn't got the same recognition. Am I right?

Any help would be nice

If you can buy a few percent above spot then it doesn’t matter which coin you buy. If paying more of a premium then you need do some research. Bullion is sold by weight but occasionally someone might pay more for a specific year.

I've just purchased my first bullion from this forum

Half sov 1911 for spot +2% I'm very happy with this deal and my vendor has more so I can buy a couple more before Christmas

I went half sov for 2 reasons

Affordability based on 5% of my net salary

Secondly not so much of a premium as the smaller fractional coins i.e. 1/10th

Ideally I'll up it to full sovs after Christmas ie 10% net salary until the next period of saving for Christmas 2018
